In the mid-1990s, he earned his first golf certification with the World Golf Teachers Association in the United States. In 2022, he earned certification to teach within the Professional Golf Confederation of Europe. His dedication to the sport extends to his family. His oldest son is a PGA professional in Switzerland, while his youngest son is a member of Canada’s national coaching team in World Cup Alpine skiing.
